good

where u get ur vocals? i don normally do them but id like to mess around with them.

that was very good, i kinda wish the main synth was louder and the bowser thing was further in the BG (didnt really fit) it really gives u a feeling of power, its a good song, and everything in it works cept that bowser noise (you know what im talkin about, like off mario 64 boss music)

ZeRo-BaSs responds:

"the bowser thing"?!? LOL! Whats that?! ^_^
plz now im curious.. is it the "Orchestral Hit"?
That was a necessary part of the song trust me ^_^

U wanna use some good vocals? Mmmm...lol i cant tell u where i exactely find them because everyone has his sectrets! (^_^)
But u can find some good samples at this site:

Wind it up is a track of the first Prodigy's CD "Experience"...guys u should check out that album..it's awesome..the Rave Masterpiece =D
(damned best tracks are "Out of Space-Wind it Up-Fire-Charly-Hyperspeed")

I know..i wanted to simulate the bombastic bass of the original song but i think i have overcharged it ^_^..lol too loud for PC speakers!
I'll upload probably a mastered version..

Thx for your review!
The next track i will made will be some DnB..ok?! =D

...ok

its pretty good, but its just....too....cheesy....

really bad sound, it wouldhave been better with anything else

apimusic responds:

Ha, too cheesy. I'll work on that.

good

you have some pretty good skills with the filtering and everything as far as the song goes.

i like the main synth and i can get into it pretty good.

kinda basic, but its pretty good i like, not great clarity, but the song is good itself.

pretty nice mix of sounds, and good reverb n shit.
i like this, its definately better then bitter.

apimusic responds:

I'm really suprised that you could tell that Bitter was from fruityloops, because it wasn't. Reason. This is fruityloops.

thanks for the reviews.

pretty good

i recognized the screechy synths from fruity, but they were very annoying.

after they shut up and the main synth kicked in it was pretty good. it sounded kinda like jus a really loud pad playing over and over though, you couldhave done better.

apimusic responds:

Thanks.

To all of the worthless faggots that voted 0 on my stuff, email me and tell me why you did so. Please. Go ahead. and "becuz ur gey" isn't a good answer.

Zeroing my stuff repetitively doesn't make you any more of a man.

good

no offence or anything (and dont get the wrong idea it sounds pretty good) but the reason the track is 18 mins long is prolly cuz u basically play a loop over and over and over and over and over and....etc

i despise repitition lol

it has nice FX and some nice melodys to it (especially when it finally changes)

and its kinda slow for DNB, you can barely classify it as DNB

anyways it was pretty good, but you need to work on the repitition.

electronic music has a tendency to repeat

better than chocolate syrup

gotta give you credits for drums on that one, i really liked how you quickly put 2 hits together to make a weird sound on the drum.

it may not have been really fast, but it sounded alright.

you shouldhave changed up the pad a lil or added another one halfway through tho cuz it got repetitive.

i don know what that effect with the explosion thing was but i like it ALOT really really adds character to the song.

most of the sounds you added were in-audible, but they could be heard somewhat, and overall i liked the song, its pretty cool.

JPhoenix84 responds:

Sad to say, my music isn't always as original as it could be. The pad is a sample, so I didn't really have any control over the tones throughout it. I could have changed the pitch of the entire sample, but I made this a long time ago, and didn't even plan to finish the song... so...

I guess I'll get right into it (I'm bored). I wanted to make something drum & bass sounding, that sort of rhythm... for my sister. She was really into drum & bass at the time. So, originally, this song was called "Lara", before I decided to make it a little cuter after envisioning pandas in an asiatic forest.

Thanks a bunch for the review! :D

good job

there was a pause between the looping of the main melody that left it kinda weird, not bad tho i like the main beat its real cool.

but when it stops and the other thing comes in its kinda weird, but when the pad kicks in its good again, once u get everything at once its really epic as you said, and i like it.

you did a pretty good job on this one.

jus so you know, as with everyone i review, you review my work i review yours.

nice try

very very very very off beat, this might have been kinda good if you put it down right, but it was so off beat it was jus kinda annoying...sorry

Thebeddens responds:

Yes... I know. I was rather embarrassed, but the truth of it is, that my comp is super slow. When I record the drum track so teh flames fan and I can record guitar on top, my comp will occasionally slow down, and the result is that you will hear tiny freezes in the drum music where the comp froze for a tiny period of time. That's where the off beat feeling comes from. Get me more comp memory and I will be your best friend forever. And it will be more on beat. PLEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEEE!

uhhh

lol

you were very brave putting this on the portal (with the vocals and everything)

this is definately way better than memory of jen, however your voice definately got fucked up when you put it in fruity lol.

ive experimented with vocals but its hard to make it work right.

as far as the lyrics i couldnt understand them, but i wouldnt show this to anyone else for fear of embarrassment, many people wont be as nice as me about it

Unfairy responds:

Yeah, I'm trying to get a friend who is in my school's chorus to sing it for me, my own voice isn't too wonderful. I noticed that FL3 does that, I think instead, I am going to get a WAV-MP3 converter for anymore vocals... As far as the lyrics are concerned, I have them posted on fp.com (http://www.fictionpress.com/~Soulshifter).

Trance is not just a genre..... Its an emotion
