good melodys, not so good synths

hmm...I think you could do well to re-arrange most of the synths, especially that lead, the melodys are great and flow together nice, the pad doesnt need much changing, it just sounds kinda muffled. The lead i think should be more airy, or substenant, its too rough feeling. (if you get what im saying)
the vocals sound great, but you cant really understand it through the vox, id suggest making that more smoothe as well, and if you sung the vocals, good job because it goes nice with the song.

drums are very good, a nice dnb break with a dance setting, its not new, but its not old either.

this is definately a powerful song, prolly has a shitload of patterns lol

One pattern, all other drum beats were handled in sequencer. The actual version of this track is well over 5 minutes long, but due to filesize limits, I had to cut some sections out. Noteably, it leads to a problem early on, where the strings kick in. They only run for 4 bars which is out of step with the 8 bars that everything else plays for.

I'm going to be getting a real vocalist to run through so I get proper, actually sung instead of vocoded, so expect a re-release in future ;-)

i jus like the FX and atmosphere parts

great fucking FX, and an awesome dark feel, the high power kicks used as FX in the beginning are awesome, however when the melody finally kicked, it just was kindof a let down, however i do like the breakbeat drums. But the intro was great, the rest of the song should keep up!

an btw u compressed it allright, but its really low in sound, take all the bass off that power kick FX noise an it should keep it from overpowering everything else, an idk what else to suggest.

Way to use actual instruments in your trance, this is how u get shit done.

i fucking love the accordian sounding synth, makes it origional and calming.

its a good ambiant, but damn the buildup was great, if you had a real long drumroll into jus a boom an hard bassline\kicks and a harder synth playin the same lead melody..... rawr

newayz for where it went it was good, the bass sliding was interesting, allthough i wouldnt make it slide to such high notes, it loses its deepness when you do.

good strings and arping (that u did urself)

now i suggest you do what i did, keep your style (which i like) and use more mainstream-ish SYNTHS, use your production and secondary synths to keep it origional, but use mainstream techniques and mix everything.

i can tell if u pick a definate genre an stick with it, then jus take that shit an keep workin till u got a perfect balance down.

took forever but im at the point where i can make a good song in like 4 seconds (although it may not be horribly origional, thats why u work on it harder)

newayz if u use FL (sounds like fl sytrus for the accordian sound, but im not sure) hit me up an we can collab sumtime.

I absolutely love using real instruments in my trance. Yea, I didn't use the arpeggiator in fruity loops, it's all by good ol' point n' click. I'm really glad you liked it, and the bass went kinda high I guess, but bass can go high sometimes, that's why they made 5 string basses :) Yea, I didn't really want to make into something heavy with drum rolls and stuff, I just said fuck it with the drums, and it feels more chill this way. The lead gives it a good rhythm, and I felt it didn't NEED drums. As for the accordian sound, it's actually 3xOSC. I didn't use sytrus in this one, but I used sytrus a shitload in "Evolve". Anyway, sure, I think we should do a collab, I just got a bunch of VST's a few days ago and I'm itching to use some of them :)

i like the speed, and the pure hyped up metroid sound to it, work on the synths tho cuz unless u meant it to sound like a metroid remix or something,its not desirable for "trance"

The drums are fine, i like the effects\filtering and effects on them, and i like the dance lead that uses the rapid bell-ish sound.

however when you started tweaking the kicks it sounded like you fucked up doing missionary style snares an put it on the kick instead lol

this has a great range of synths, samples and arps going at once, an it sounds really complex, but not too complex which is good.

good high pitched secondary lead near the end, kept it goin nicely..

i wish i had vocals to fuck with, i never use them because i have none....

The progression in this is good, mainstream type progression without losing too much origionality, the arping was good, mainstream type synth, but it sounds origional, good job.

If you use fruityloops, maybe we can collab or something sometime.

Youll get known on NG soon hopefully, it takes luck, ive been making music for a year and only my deditcated fans know i exist on NG lol

anyways, keep on makin music, ur at a good stage in music production.

I am starting to use Fl once agian but im rusty... I wouldnt mind doing a collab, it would help me get used to the program again. I do hope i get known on NG lol...its the same with me...only my dedictaed fans know i exist.
